Winter Garden Restaurant in Winnipeg

You'll never know unless you try so inspite of the bad and poor reviews here we decided to give it a go. I would say that it would be our first and last time.... food presentation and the taste was awful... the beef teriyaki doesnt look and taste like teriyaki. No wonder why they were empty and no customer. The server was pleasant but looks like she hardly can communicate

I personally loved the beef with ginger and green onion, however a bit too much white onion in the dish for my own liking. The breaded shrimp with sweet and sour was delicious, and the Panko breading was light and crispy. Staff was friendly and food came out fast.

Amazing dishes and hospitality in a place where it's hard to get good Chinese dishes. Highly recommend to try the Winter Garden Special Vegetable.

Wanted to try a new place so we thought we'd try winter garden. Was told delivery would be within the hour, seemed normal but it was delivered within 20 minutes which sounds good but was a sign that it wasn't freshly cooked. Several of the vegetable only dishes that don't mention meat, actually come with some kind of meat.. Next, by ordering mixed vegetables it's nice to get something more then broccoli. The egg rolls tasted like they were from days before and refried, and everything was so greasy/oily. Unimpressed overall, delivery guy was nice....

Ordered on skip the dishes so that I don't have to go out. Asked for fried rice with on eggs due to allergies. Food arrived rice was full of eggs. I called them and they asked me to come in... I get there and they tell me the will make it right away. I even gave extra time and you would think they would have it waiting.

Food is great, service is even better. I enjoy the honey garlic and winter garden veal dishes. The winter garden sauce is a ranch mixture just in case you wanted to know.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Winnipeg! Great service good food. Try the Deep Fried Squid in five spice salt. You won't be disappointed!

My kids loved it here. We prefer this restaurant compared to other Chinese restos. Foods are great. Though we had 1 bad experience with their pork dumplings coz the meat taste odd, they immediately apologized. But that doesn't stop us from coming back. Staff are polite.
